About the Assistant guru (Norway)

Sabthahi Balendren is an active dance teacher of Nithya Sathangai Narthanaalaya art school, Norway. She started performing at the age of three along with her mother and has continued to perform all over Europe. She has completed her diploma and post diploma in Bharatanatyam, presented her Arangetram in Norway, and graduation in Denmark. She received the title ‘Natya Kalaayothi and Vidya boshan’ by Oriental Examination Board of London –OEBL. She has also received the title ‘Isai kalayothi’ in Carnatic Sangeetham by OEBL.

She has completed grade 6 at the International Institute of Tamil Art IITA and is now waiting to complete the very last grade in 2020.

Sabthahi has received the best Solo western song performer of in Denmark 2016 by Ringkobing-Skjern Music School. She has also participated in Saivatamizh pannisai and won Gold medal three times.

She is now a teacher, performer, and choreographer. She is frequently undergoing training in Bharatanatyam by Guru Sri Shankar Kandasamy at The temple of Fine Arts in Malaysia. In the beginning of 2020, she has started to learn the rhythmic instrument, miruthangam.
