About the Nithya Sathangai Narthanaalaya
Welcome to NSN art school of performings art. Our passion is to outreach every culture with this wonderful form of arts, and introduce Barathanatyam to people who enjoy different styles of dance.
Our purpose is to provide students of all ages with the skills to enjoy music and dance for a lifetime. Our goal is not just to teach dance for the year-end recital, but also introduce many skills necessary to become an accomplished and astute leaner for years to come.
NSN Art school was first founded in Denmark (1997) and later on in Norway (2016). it was established on the principles of instilling students with a sound understanding of the ancient art, Bharatanatyam.
Over the past 23 years, NSN art has nurtured, trained and developed many students into fine dancers, and provided them with opportunities to perform at national and international venues.

Certificate and Graduation
Teachers/Gurus are the ones who preserve the tradition, sustenance of Music, Dance, other Indian Art forms for generations. Each School is unique in their way of teaching and mostly there are no common syllabi. Yet there remains a need for a systematic and rationale certification process based on the skills and talent levels of students.
The students in NSN art school can take dance exams every year. There are two kinds of exams they can take:
1. Oriental Examination Board London (OEBL) is a Leading International South Asian Fine Arts body. It functions as a common body conducting public examinations in South Indian Fine Arts for all organisations. This exmam is up to grade 8 (Diploma Natya Kalaa Yothi) and grade 9 – post diploma Vidya Bhoosan
2. International Institute of Tamil Arts (IITA). This exman is up to 7th grad – Natya Kalaa vidthakar
